Yet, his greatest fulfillment came from helping clients anticipate and prepare for future success.
Before joining Upstream, Jeremy founded a consulting firm dedicated to fostering successful workplace cultures through strategic thinking and asking better questions. He developed the SQ Method — a groundbreaking framework to help organizations navigate challenges, leverage technology, and drive meaningful change.
A sought-after speaker, Jeremy captivates audiences across the U.S. and internationally, sharing insights on leadership, data analytics, and organizational culture. His dynamic presentations earned him the ACFE’s James R. Baker Speaker of the Year Award in 2019, reflecting his ability to inspire and empower. At Upstream Academy, Jeremy channels his expertise into developing future leaders through Emerging Leaders Academy, a transformative two-year program that prepares the next generation of accounting firm partners. His New Manager Academy program ensures those new to the Manager role can quickly learn to manage both people and engagements. He also leads partner retreats and strategic planning sessions, helping firms refine their vision and navigate change. Beyond the classroom, Jeremy hosts The Upstream Leader Podcast, a bi-weekly dive into leadership, culture, and growth.

Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys family time, lake adventures, Formula 1 racing, Peloton workouts, and all things Disney. He and his wife, Katie, are proud parents to three inquisitive daughters and the caretakers of three lively toy Australian shepherds and a lovable Goldendoodle.
