Free Access to All Management Presentations

UAN membership includes free access (for all members of your firm who wish to participate) to at least eight Management Presentations offered each year, plus a free copy of the audio CD sent after each presentation ($295 per firm for non-members). Presentations are delivered by Sam Allred via a conference call and focus on firm management topics.  CPE is available for all Management Presentations.

UAN members may also use Management Presentations with clients as a value-added service or revenue opportunity.

Substantial Discount on Enrollment in the Academy for Business Development

The Academy for Business Development (ABD) is an intensive 18-month program for teaching vital business development skills to new partners and senior managers. The 18-month cost to UAN members is $7,500 per participant ($9,000 for non-member participants), and this includes attendance at all three face-to-face workshops.

Substantial Discount on Enrollment in Emerging Leaders Academy

Emerging Leaders Academy (ELA) is a three-year program designed to deliver professional leadership development training to emerging leaders in accounting firms.  This program uses a unique combination of conference call presentations, professionally prepared materials for in-house instruction, mentoring by a senior partner, and completion of individual assignments.  The annual cost to UAN members is $2,500 per participant ($3,000 for non-member participants), and this includes attendance at one of our four annual events.

Access to Managing Partner Academy

Managing Partner Academy (MPA) is a forum for managing partners/CEOs to discuss best practices and strategic issues facing their firms.

Through three conference calls and one face-to-face meeting, top leaders in Upstream Academy Network firms have the chance to network with others in their unique position.

Only managing partners/CEOs of UAN member firms are eligible for enrollment.

Discounts on and Special Use of LeaderSkills Lessons

Upstream Academy Network members receive LeaderSkills Lessons at the reduced charge of $125 per lesson (non-members pay $200 per lesson). LeaderSkills lessons give firms all the tools they need to provide exceptional in-house training on key non-technical skills.

UAN members can also customize and teach lessons to their clients for no additional charge.

UAN members have access to the “members only,” password protected section of the library. The library contains a myriad of useful items to assist you in developing a firm of excellence, including sample firm documents, processes, articles on firm management, and writing tips.
