BestPractices Conference 2008

We tried a new location for our BestPractices Conference this year, venturing out to the East Coast for the first time. We were impressed with the friendliness of the Rhode Islanders and several participants had a chance to explore the surrounding countryside to see the famous New England fall colors.

During the two-day conference, participants listened to dynamic speakers discussing some of today's most important people-related topics:

The breakout sessions on Thursday afternoon fueled discussions, generated ideas, and gave firm members a chance to share innovative ideas.

Thursday night's reception gave everyone a chance to network with other participants. Attendees also had a chance to meet our conference sponsors, Steffanie Gunn from the Alliant Group, Alan Smith and Michelle Arnold from Ernst & Morris, and Brian Siet and Sedra Michaelson from CCH .
